Easter Fun at Tayside!

Cadet Aquila First Solo!
This last week we celebrated with Cadet Sergeant Matthew Riches from Norfolk, he is the first cadet to go solo in our new aircraft! Matthew is from Wymondham College CCF – which is based in Norfolk; he is only 17! This is what he had to say; “It was a really amazing experience, it was very weird not having an instructor sitting next to me!”
Matthew went solo after 11 hours and 40 minutes – which is a great result and was because of the hard work and effort put in by himself and his instructors! All possible through the Air Cadet Pilot Scheme – offered through the Air Cadets & the Combined Cadet Force.
Easter Bunny Came to Visit!
Our main hotel partner, the Doubletree Dundee by Hilton, popped around to the school to reward our instructors for their hard work over the last week! The Easter Bunny gave out easter eggs to all of our instructors – a big thank you to the team there for coming over, and most importantly – looking after our cadets and students during their stays!
